Family Coaching, Mentoring and Learning Programmes

Our solution-focused coaching and mentoring and learning programmes are designed for children, young people, their siblings, parents/carers, adults and the family as a whole living with neurodevelopmental conditions, specific learning difficulties and associated mental health needs.

Sessions focus on self (and family) awareness, self (and family) management, building social and communication skills and developing positive relationships to support the client to move on with their life.

Coaching Programmes 

We also offer strength-based, multi-sensory, CBT-based intervention programmes designed and developed to help children and young people at risk to recognise and manage negative behaviours and develop strategies to keep themselves safe and make positive choices. We are licensed practitioners of the 'Why Try' Coaching Programme.

Licensed Programmes

Family Learning Programmes and Workshops

Our structured learning programmes and workshops give parents, carers and supporters the skills, knowledge and confidence to enable them to recognise, understand and meet the needs of their family living with neurodevelopmental conditions.

Programme length: Six sessions

ND and Me 

We also offer ‘ND and Me’: age-appropriate learning programmes for children and young people. The programme enables children and young people to learn about their neurodevelopmental conditions together in a safe and supportive environment and to gain strategies to manage aspects of their NDCs in a more independent way. Friendships are often formed in these groups which can last beyond the duration of the programme. 

This programme can be tailored to the specific needs of the group; delivered as Autism and Me, ADHD and Me or a combination of both.

Programme length: Six sessions

The ND & Me programme has been successfully delivered in-school as part of targeted curriculum enrichment and also as an after-school group for ages from 8 to 18+. We prefer to match the ages of participants and can deliver groups to cater for various ages and abilities.
